Hooray for a Quarter Century!
Yesterday was my 25th birthday. I've been on this planet (at least in my current form) for a quarter of a century. What have I done with my life - jack shit, but it has been fun!

I got a brand new digital camera from my mum & fiance for my birthday - it's a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Of course, I took a number of shots yesterday to start getting used to it & learning all it can do. It has been almost 5 years since I've had a SLR camera, so I've got some things to re-learn, but it won't take long. :)

Here are the first shots. I took over 300 yesterday, but these are the ones I really liked and took the time to edit a bit. Enjoy!

The shitty part is that it is overcast/rainy right now - the same as it was yesterday and will be off an on for another week at least. The problem? Not the best lighting for nature or indoor shots! :(

P.S.: My hubby, mum, & I are going to look at a house here in West Hartford, CT that we might buy ... if we like the inside. Location is great and the outside looks nice, so we'll see how we like the inside. We've already seen pictures, but you know they don't tell the whole story.
